One of the great things about Carbon County is looking up at the sky and seeing the stars clearly at night. It is almost magical how they twinkle and shine against the dark sky.

This magic is not seen by all who live in the USA. Some places like Chicago and northern Indiana are lucky to see just a few stars in the sky above. Pollution and haze obscures much.
