I am not wild about licorice. In truth, I won’t even eat black licorice. The anise flavor just is a little weird to my taste buds.

Anise flavored liqueurs such as Ouzo, which is Greek, and Sambuca, which is Italian, I will drink if I am in the right mood.

In fact, there was a time when I drank Sambuca fairly often.
