King Coal Days Draws Families and Fun

The annual celebration of Coal happened in Hanna on the days of July 10 and 11. The town, which started out as a coal mining center for the United States, has a long history revering coal as the lifeblood of this town.

There is no official record of when the celebration started but it was and still is the major summer event for the town.
