Memorial Day is a time to honor those who served the USA. In the East, ceremonies can commemorate those who served all the way back to the Revolutionary War.

In the West, it is a different story.

There are no vets from the Nation’s first war or the War of 1812 buried in cemeteries in Wyoming, and not all that many who served in the Civil War.
