The regularly scheduled meeting for the Hanna Town Council was postponed by a day to May 15 due to a conflicting event, the Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow, (HEM) Middle/High School Spring Concert. The meeting, which convened at 6:15 p.m. at the Hanna Town Hall, drew a sizable crowd.

The 2nd annual Carbon County Start-Up Challenge features a Pitch Night at the Parco Theater in Sinclair. The event will be May 15 at 6 p.m.

“We have five panelists,” Pam Thayer one of the organizers and the Director for Rawlins DDA. “One is from Hanna, three are from Rawlins and one is from Saratoga.”

Residents from across the county gathered to engage in discussions on various legislative initiatives, community issues, and concerns raised by constituents.

The Town of Medicine Bow faced a significant development during its recent council meeting, held on April 8 at the Medicine Bow Community Hall, with the announcement of Councilmember Jerry Wohl’s resignation. Mayor Justin George presided over the session.

2024 Wyoming legislative session was Feb 12 to March 8, 2024, at the State Capital in Cheyenne. With this being my first budget session, I learned a lot and have a new respect for the process and the work and time that is put into the state’s budget. We heard 350 bills and passed a $10.6 Billion Biennium Budget.

The City of Rawlins is proud to announce the selection of the City of Rawlins attorney, Pinita Maberry-Nave. Mayor Terry Weickum stated, “We are excited to have Pinita join the incredible Rawlins team.” Prior to assuming her current position as City Attorney, Maberry-Nave served as the Interim City Attorney.
