On September 6th, the Town of Elk Mountain and the Elk Mountain Hotel threw an event that started with a parade in the morning and concluded with bands at the hotel that had close to 400 people dancing and celebrating as nightfall came upon everyone.

The Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast, followed by the Carbon County Fair Parade on August 2 was the kickoff for the 2025 Fair, although there had been some horse competitions earlier in the week.

After the parade was the dog show, which was very well attended and had a lot of cute pups.

Engines roared and metal collided as the Carbon County Fairgrounds once again hosted the Carbon County Khaos Demolition Derby Saturday night, delivering a high-octane spectacle that had fans on their feet. Spectators cheered as vehicles smashed and crashed in scenes reminiscent of a post-apocalyptic gladiator movie.
