Rawlins Football Scores Big Win
The Rawlins Outlaws football team had reason to celebrate on Friday, September 8, when they triumphed over Green River in a non-conference home game. The Outlaws secured a convincing 25-12 victory, showcasing their determination and skill on the field. With this win, Rawlins now holds a commendable 2-1 record for the season.
Their next challenge awaits as they gear up for an away game against Moffat County on September 15.
Lady Outlaws Volleyball Faces Tough Competition
While the football team is basking in its recent victory, the Lady Outlaws volleyball team has been experiencing a challenging season. The girls faced formidable opponents in the form of Wheatland and Lyman on Friday, September 9, which resulted in consecutive losses. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to secure a win on those occasions.
However, the spirit of the team remains undaunted. They are determined to bounce back and regain their winning momentum. Their next opportunity to do so comes on September 15 when they go head-to-head with Douglas. The Lady Outlaws are ready to give it their all and show their resilience as they look to turn the tide in their favor.
Little Snake River Valley (LSRV) High School’s volleyball team, the Lady Rattlers, are making waves in the state rankings. Currently ranked 10th in the state, they boast an impressive record of 11-1-0. Their recent victories include wins against Roaring Fork on September 10, Cahan out of Colorado on September 9, Soroco out of Colorado on September 8, and Encampment on September 8. The Lady Rattlers are gearing up for their next challenge on September 15 when they face Cokeville.
