Platte Valley Ministerial Association
The Platte Valley Ministerial Association invites everyone to the Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 19th at 5:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Saratoga. The ecumenical service is an annual tradition and is the major fundraising event for the Ministerial Association. The service will feature musical offerings by the Saratoga Community Choir, as well as congregational hymns, prayers, and Scripture readings. Clergy members from valley congregations will lead the service.
The Ministerial Association sponsors the Saratoga Food Pantry and a Travelers’ Assistance Fund. It also provides assistance to those who are unable to pay housing or utility bills.
A potluck dinner will follow the service. Attendees are asked to bring a main dish, side dish, salad, or dessert to share, as well as their own table service.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join with our neighbors in the Upper North Platte Valley to give thanks for our many blessings.
