The new principal of the three Northern Carbon County Schools in Carbon County School District no 2 (CCSD2), Jackie Jones, was born and raised in Carbon County, specifically Hanna.

Future Farmers of America (FFA) advisor at Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School Ranelle Hindman and her students in the organization gave the students up north in Carbon County School District No 2 (CCSD2) a treat before the school year closed.
